Chartwell Font

Time for a little font geekery. I present to you on the left, graphs, charts and data created in InDesign with Chartwell. A brilliant font that usesĀ OpenType ligatures to convert raw numbers into beautifully simple graphs. The Power Point slides on the right are what I started with.

I’ve never been a fan of PPT. To be honest, I’ve never take the time to dig into the styling options. Mostly because I’ve never been impressed with the results that I’ve viewed in countless conference presentations. When was the last time you heard someone say, “that’s a gorgeous collection of Power Point slides.” Exactly.

I stumbled across Chartwell last week at Typographica. Pay a visit and see samples of the six variations available in the Chartwell collection. Then buy the set and start making some pretty graphs.
