an annex for everything else

I started this bowl yesterday, and when I came back to it this morning, it had cracked nearly in half.  I turned it down a ways, then left until this afternoon.  When I got back to it (again), it had cracked some more.  I turned it all the way past the cracks, and now there is this tiny bowl.

Allison and I found out today that we are going to have a little boy.  I am keeping this bowl.
