A festive winter ale…
Sink sheep says, “It’s time to take a bath.”
Watch Furthur performing at the first annual Interlocken Festival. The second part of the show (from ‘Casey Jones’ on) features Phish’s Trey Anastasio on guitar. Furthur recently announced a hiatus for 2014 so those of you who were able to catch this performance got to see possibly one of the last types of these collaborations for quite sometime. Enjoy!

This video of Jenny Scheinman’s Mischief and Mayhem conjuring “The Mite” at LPR during the 2012 NYC Winter Jazz Fest is great, as is the description that accompanies it:
During this set closer, suddenly, due to the convergence of forces beyond the comprehension of modern science, but most likely due to the immense power of Nels Cline’s epic guitar solo, there was a disturbance in the gravitational pull of Le Poisson Rouge, and suddenly the band and the audience were standing on the walls. The audience was so transfixed by this galvanizing performance, that no one noticed. At the conclusion of the set, the gravitational field returned to normal and everyone was standing back on their feet. For those viewers with borderline vertigo, you may want to view this on a handheld device, which you can turn on its side and “correct” the perspective for pleasurable viewing. Those watching this on a PC can turn their computer upside down, but this in not recommended. We hope you enjoy this little 1960-esque video. Sincerely, The staff at BBsoundandvision.
Mischief and Mayhem (Scheinman, Nels Cline, Jim Black and Todd Sickafoose) are back at LPR Monday evening. Doors at 6pm, show at 7. Julian Lage opens.
