Clark Kellogg, Fine Woodworker

Twenty odd years ago Clark Kellogg was building boxes in the Camp Wachusett wood shop where I was a counselor. This month he is published in the pages of Fine Woodworking, #220. Congratulations, Clark.

The title of the article says it all, Cut better dovetails with shopmade tools. I know Clark as a very meticulous worker. Methodical also come to mind. I am not surprised in the slightest that he crafts his own tools to build the beautiful pieces that he is increasingly becoming famous for. Be sure to click over to his website and take a gander.

Real world testing

I built these pieces last summer for the library at University Child Development School in Seattle. The school year comes to a close next week and this set survived the daily use of over one hundred pre-school and Kindergarten students.

Nancy, the greatest librarian on Earth, said these chairs were a very popular spot for the kids to sit and flip through pages. Get yours.
